Tigris.. it’s been a while!

Monsoons are usually a great time to be out riding .. but not much riding has happened this season. This one is from a weekend ride many months ago.

Issues with GoPro Connecting to macOS / Quik

macOS Mojave & GoPro

Since upgrading to macOS Mojave, many are facing issues with connecting the GoPro Hero5 to Mac devices.

Here’s a workaround that works wirelessly & without a card adapter:

  1. On the GoPro, switch ON Wireless Connections
  2. On your computer, connect to the GoPro wireless network (eg. GP35428681)
  3. In your browser, open the link http://10.5.5.9:8080/videos/DCIM/100GOPRO/
  4. You should be able to access all the MP4 / LRV / WAV files on your GoPro to download

Hope this helps.

PS: Download rate using the above approach is slow

Big Hairy Audacious Goals

A awesome note to start the day & week from Measure What Matters:

“If companies “don’t continue to innovate, they’re going to die—and I didn’t say iterate, I said innovate.” Conservative goal setting stymies innovation. And innovation is like oxygen: You cannot win without it.”

Conservative goals vs Big Hairy Audacious Goals.
Iterate vs Innovate.

And a hat tip & best wishes to a mate – Narasimha / DNP / Nampy – of mine starting his own gig. Reach out to him, if you or your team believe a coach can help.

Taking On The World

Not one, not two …FOURTEEN LIONS! This year old elephant calf survives an attack by them in a Zambian safari. The calf was apparently reunited with its 60 strong herd the next day.

Maybe in its youth, this calf doesn’t have enough experience to know that it doesn’t stand a chance against this pack of lions. So it fights back. And it is better off with its inexperience.

An inspiring video to watch when feeling burdened or defeated. Great to carry this kind of a spirit along.
