If you are doing a road trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco, plan to do it over over 2-3 days. That is exactly what we did earlier this summer & we were rewarded with a gorgeous experience of the US west coast.

We experienced this beautiful sunset in Cambria, a sea-side village mid-way between the two metropolises. Walking to this spot, we also witnessed a couple of passing whales & it made for a perfect culmination to a beautiful coastal day. The fact that this hand-held shot was taken almost 45mins after sunset is testament to the low light prowess of the Canon 6D. The shooting star effect of the jet plane was the icing on the cake.
