There used to be a time when parents used to encourage their young kids to go through the daily newspaper. With front pages like the one below, along with the TV & Internet, newspapers too need to be scanned for appropriateness.

This is a front page photo from a leading daily newspaper from earlier this week. I am sure such snaps are effective in driving home the misery of the specific incident. But shouldn’t the newspapers also think about all the kids who may lay their hands on a copy of this newspaper?
