Bengaluru Sun Set – Inspired by Ken Rockwell

The first day post the vacation season started off being one of the foggiest in Bengaluru making it difficult for all to make it back to work. The day warmed up soon & ended with a magnificent sun set.

Inspired by some photographic gyan from Ken Rockwell, I indulged with a few settings on my Canon EOS 500D. A sampling of the end result is below :

Do note that most of my experiments today were with the white balance settings – as below in this snap.

Leela Palace getting low cost multi-level parking

Anyone visiting the Leela Palace, Bengaluru, would’ve noticed the paucity of parking space at the hotel. In an attempt to address the issue, the hotel is adopting a low cost quick solution.

3 cars stacked one above the other, managed by a valet parking service.

Yesterday, I enjoyed the Bangalore version of Stir Fry Crazy at Oasis mall in Koramangala. Wonder why they stock only noodles & not rice?

Nature’s Shower

On a recent trip to Manipal via Agumbe, I came across this fantastic scene at a view point in Agumbe. This was awe inspiring & left us wishing we had a better camera to capture the picture. Not bad for a snap captured on a iPhone.
